Susan started working for Gus Bates in 2000. She brings a lot of experience & knowledge from her time with life insurance companies as well as office management, graphic design, bookkeeping, payroll implementation and new payroll software training, and a stint as an interim Newspaper Editor.
As Life Insurance New Business Case Manager for Gus Bates Financial Services, Susan’s knowledge of carriers’ Life Insurance products and underwriting ensures a case is objectively placed with the most advantageous underwriting offer or carrier. She is also experienced with policy owner service and loves helping clients as their needs change.
Susan graduated from North Marshall High School in Calvert City, KY and attended a local college in Paducah, KY. Susan and her husband Chuck moved to Fort Worth in 1982. They have 3 grown children, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and friends, traveling to Branson, Mo, going to movies, and singing.
