Hunter was born and raised in League City, TX and moved to Frisco when he was in middle school. He is a loud and proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie class of 2023. Hunter joined Gus Bates Financial Services as an intern in January 2023 while still at Texas A&M and became a fulltime Financial Advisor in May 2023.
While at Texas A&M, Hunter was a member of the Corps of Cadets and played snare drum in the Aggie Band. Although he bleeds maroon, purple has started to grow on him now that he is a Fort Worth resident. Hunter loves the people he works with and describes the team as the connection between passion and purpose. Hunter is blessed to be a part of a team that is so connected to Fort Worth and with people who put others before themselves.
Hunter comes from a hospitality background, working as a private home bartender and server in the DFW area and enjoys creating memorable experiences for others. Hunter’s favorite quote is from Maya Angelou – “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Hunter has a passion for running and completed The Cowtown Marathon as his first full marathon. In his free time, Hunter enjoys spending time with his family, country dancing, traveling, duck hunting, meeting others and learning about bourbon and wine.
Hunter plays an influential role in building client relationships and continues to help shape The Gus Bates culture. He loves being able to help people make life decisions while treating everyone like his own family. Hunter gets pleasure by serving and loving people. Fort Worth is special to him as are the people of Fort Worth.
